Seeing beauty everywhere, in every one....

Today's Daily Word speaks to my heart about seeing beauty. This practice has been with me from my earliest years... I think from communicating with the childhood guardian angel. Seeing beauty everywhere, or seeing the beauty in each individual has always been a practice. So, today's Word speaks to my heart as a wonderful reminder....

I see beauty everywhere I look.
Today I take time to behold beauty in and around me. I pause to look into the eyes of my family, friends, and those I meet. My mind may notice only physical appearance, but I aim to see beauty with my heart.
In each face, I find the story of a life unfolding. I look with the eyes of my heart, and discover Divine beauty in each person. I notice their most positive aspect—an attitude, a gesture, a smile. Finding beauty is a practice that takes time, but I am patient. If I rush or disregard what’s in front of me, I remember to slow down and perceive the best in others.
As I form this new habit, I am gentle with myself. I gaze in the mirror and behold the loveliness of Spirit expressing through me. Beauty is everywhere I look.

Love and Forgiveness

Today's Daily Word talks about Love... on a deeper level, I think the message is about forgiveness. Yes, it's easier to love the people we are close to. And it's sometimes quite a challenge to 'love' those who have hurt us. Yet, through the power of Love... we can attain a peaceful heart and move out of the distress of feeling poorly about anyone. Truly an act of 'Love', and act of forgiveness.

Love
It is my nature to love.
The love of God flows through my heart to the hearts of others. When I am a conduit for love, I recognize the divinity in all beings. I honor their lives and want only the best for them.
Following Jesus’ teaching to love one another is easy when I cherish people dear to me. However, I am also called to appreciate those who are different from me, and even those who hurt or offend me. Loving as Jesus loved means to accept all people as expressions of Spirit, regardless of their actions, choices, or abilities. They are the beloved of God.
Love lives in me. It flows from Spirit and I share it with others. As I love, I am fully alive. I love because it is my nature to love.

Pursuit of Purpose... Happiness, Prosperity, True Abundance

Prosperity, happiness, the pursuit of life...
My definition of happiness is to feel the quality of enough... Enough, especially when it comes to being able to follow my 'Purpose' by giving to the world. In this, I am truly blessed and proserous.
I give from my heart, and I am richly blessed!
Optimism and pessimism are often defined as seeing the glass either half full or half empty. Prosperity thinking sees the glass completely filled with two different elements—water and air, for instance.
Today I see my life through prosperity thinking. Abundance is so much more than material possessions. I prosper in my relationships because they are mutually supportive. I am wealthy in my health because I take care of my mind and body. I eat nutritious meals, exercise regularly, and think positively.
If I experience lack in any area of my life, I ask myself: How can I more fully participate in the cycle of giving and receiving? I can volunteer, reach out to help someone, or appreciate others. As I think prosperously, I am blessed!
And, as I GIVE, I am overflowing with abundance, joy, and living my purpose.

Oneness

The belief in 'non-duality' is the knowing that we are all connected as ONE whole. We are one in Spirit, one in the love of God.
Praying for others is one way I express the love of God within me. When I hold good thoughts for another, or for a world situation, I am affirming God's Good for myself as well.
As I pray for my loved ones and for the world, I enfold everybody in thoughts of guidance, love, power, and protection.
As I pray, I affirm God’s light is leading each individual in ways of peace. I declare Spirit’s nurturing love is flowing through all, restoring the fabric of each precious soul to wholeness. I am affirming the Oneness of All.
I affirm the power of God inspires us to serve our community, our nation, and the world in ways of safety and understanding. The presence of God within connects us to one another in peace and harmony. Wherever we are, God is, and all is well.
Sweet blessings.

'I AM ...'

Today's Daily Word speaks of one of the basic Unity principles I learned almost 40 years ago. Basically, it's about paying attention to what we tell ourselves. Every time we use the words "I am" we are basically praying, affirming our circumstances. How many times do I say 'I'm tired'! Well... today, I AM Grateful! Grateful to be reminded to be more conscious of the words I use.

I use the words “I Am” with clarity and purpose.
Do I really give it much thought when I begin a sentence with “I am”? Declaring “I am worried” or “I am confused” is invoking the name of God, the “I Am,” and giving power to that statement. I could more appropriately say that “I have a concern about an issue.”
When I use the words “I am” carefully, I connect with the highest, healthiest thoughts about a given circumstance. By saying I am able, I affirm confidence. By pronouncing I am open, I assert willingness. When I declare I am worthy, capable, healthy, and prosperous, I activate these qualities within me.
The “I Am” is God in me, so I speak those words with clarity and purpose. I connect “I Am” with positive, affirmative statements, and declare my oneness with God.

True North Star and the Lighthouse

Strong words in today's Daily Word! The absolute foundation of Spirit, Faith, and Grace. Knowing that the Divine Presence is within me, not something vague and difficult to reach, but deep within, is our True Light House, or our True North Star. I love the metaphor of the North Star and a point of reference, to guide us to good decision and healthy thinking. In Unity, we used to say 'Where ever I am, God IS. And that's the Truth!'

Protected
Divinely protected, I live boldly and confidently.
The protection of Spirit is boundless. Wherever I go, I am guided and safe. The all-seeing wisdom of God is within me, as my inner voice and intuition. It is my steadfast lighthouse, gently guiding me away from stormy situations. Enlightened in the love of God, I am steered toward my highest good.
Knowing I am divinely protected, I live boldly and courageously. I navigate through uncertain situations with supreme confidence, always expecting good. God is within and around me, calling forth the highest expression of humanity in myself and others.
Wherever I am called to be, and whatever I am called to do, Spirit’s omnipotent power is with me. I am protected by the infallible Presence; I am always harbored in love.

Sweet blessings

Wholeness grows from within...

I'm not too sure I totally agree with today's Daily Word. Keeping positive thoughts wont necessarily keep me from being injured or sick. Faithful exercise also may not always result in longevity. Yet BOTH positive thoughts and exercise will certainly enhance my experience daily. By making healthy choice daily, my consciousness will inform my body, down to every little cell, which will move me towards wholeness. I do agree that wholeness grows from within.

Healing
Wholeness is my divine birthright.
Healing occurs when physical and emotional blocks are removed from mind and body. Then life energy can move freely once again. If I experience sickness, I become aware of any thoughts of limitation and let them go. I consider how to care for my body, and make any necessary adjustments.
By making healthy choices, I consciously move toward wholeness. By stretching, dancing, or exercising, I release tension or pain, and help my physical health. I let go of mental blocks with powerful statements: Sickness has no power over me. All that endures is wholeness.
I may combine exercise, such as walking or yoga, with affirmations. Today I move toward wholeness, and wholeness grows from within.

Seeking the Light

Today's Daily Word says that facing darkness is a normal process of life, and at such times we should reach for the light of God. Using the metaphor of a plant though, I somewhat disagree. All things that grow in Nature and ALWAYS reaching for the light. Thus, We should ALWAYS be seeking the light of God, not just during the hard times. Yes, it's a great comfort when times are shaky, and it is even a GREATER comfort when we seek the Light as a daily, moment to moment practice.

Growth
I am growing toward the light.
In order to grow, a seed must be covered under the dirt and find its way to the light. While in the darkness, it is nurtured by soil, heat, and water. Once the seedling bursts through, it leans toward the sun and creates food from sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide. In time, the plant yields its fruit.
Facing darkness is a normal process of life. At such times, I reach for the light of God to find my way, and I grow in faith, wisdom, understanding, and love. I become aware of my inner divinity and nurture my seeds of potential through prayer, study, and practice. The light of God helps me grow courageously. I keep moving toward Spirit and harvest the fruit of realization.
May we all 'grow' by continually seeking the Light.

Praying for others is Self Care too

Today's Daily Word talks about being the 'light of the world'. For me, I feel it's about walking the talk. Knowing that we are basically all One... when I pray for myself, or when I pray for others... I am affirming the Highest Good for all. And I remember that my thoughts are prayers. What I am thinking about, I am affirming. So I keep my thoughts positive. I keep my thoughts aligned with the highest good, for myself, others, the planet. In that way, I affirm my presence in the Light of the world

from today's Daily Word...

God’s light shines in and through me, guiding me to be a loving presence. The Psalmist sang: “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” The same light that shined through Jesus is in me and my loved ones.
If I am seeking answers, I trust the indwelling Christ to bless me with light and show me the way. As I follow God’s guidance, my steps are illumined and my words express faith. When I pray for others, I affirm: Spirit is leading you to your highest good. I behold my dear ones being receptive to God’s light.
As I allow Spirit to enlighten my life, I see my path clearly. My life is a blessing to others, and I am a presence of light in the world.
